明清时期，冯氏迁到这里定居。[1]

1964年属流沙公社和美邻大队。这里1990年成为和美邻管理区，1999年才改为和美邻村委会，一直用到现在。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，村中户籍人口2000余人；博雅地名网载总户数345户，人口1987人。[1][2]

80%的劳动力从事非农产业，民营企业有15家，主要搞服装生产。农田种水稻、甘薯等作物。[1]

交通方面，流沙大道东段（国道324线）与东二环大道贯穿全村。[1]

2019年9月，和美邻村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
