郭厝寮村在市区东北约6公里，有5000多人，1100多户（博雅地名网）。村内耕地750多亩，属纯农地区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为流沙红色公社的郭厝寮大队；1983年改属流沙区，称郭厝寮乡；1986年为流沙镇郭厝寮村委会；1990年设郭厝管理区；1999年改设郭厝寮村委会，沿用至今。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有许氏家庙等历史文物。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，郭厝寮村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
