华溪村位于市区东北约3.5公里处，广汕公路在村南侧通过，面积约1.6平方千米。村中有1400多户，人口达7200多人，姓氏为陈、李、林三姓（博雅地名网）。[1]

村子以服装加工业为主，有集体企业6家，个体企业40多家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原名下溪仔。村北地势低，大雨时溪水汇聚，可以行舟。1927年挖渠排水、解除水患，此后改称华溪村（博雅地名网）。[1]

文化[edit]

村北有流沙中学，村西有华溪李锦清学校，由旅居泰国的侨胞李锦清捐资兴建。村子是革命老区。[1]

陈辛仁的故里在华溪村；他曾任福建省委副书记，并任驻外大使（博雅地名网）。[1]

经济[edit]

华溪村在2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月先后列入中国淘宝村名单。[1]
