社区成立于2003年。博雅地名网称该地属葵潭农场，地名自起用后沿用至今。[1][2][3]

公共设施与教育[edit]

社区服务中心里有阅览、健身、棋牌、培训等房间，并设有供老年人活动的「星光老人之家」和一处活动广场。[3]

辖区内设有葵潭农场中心小学、葵峰小学和惠民小学三所学校。[1]
