华洋村是惠来县侨园镇下辖的行政村，村名原为「下洋」，后雅称「华洋」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村处三清山下，村前有一片田洋，故称「下洋」，后雅称「华洋」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代初年，卢、江二姓率先来此建村；到清代，翁、方、黄等姓陆续迁来定居，今日村中以黄、江两姓为主。[1]

1949年至1958年称华洋村；1978年起划归侨场管辖；1995年10月，改设华洋村委会，延续至今。[1]

荣誉称号[edit]

  • 2024年3月，获命名为2023年「广东省卫生村」。[1]
