谢湖村是惠来县侨园镇下辖的行政村。村委会由谢塘、下湖两个自然村合并而来，村名各取一字。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1960年以前，谢湖归溪西公社管辖；1960年改隶大南山侨场后，编为谢湖大队。1995年10月，谢塘与下湖拆分出来独立成村；2004年两村重又合并，组成谢湖村委会。[1]
村民出入交通不便，多靠渡船往来。[1]
