侨园镇是揭阳市惠来县的一个镇，龙江河中游从其南面流过，镇中心区距县政府所在地27公里。[1]

镇域前身是1960年创建的广东省大南山华侨农场，1995年改为行政管理区；2020年设立侨园镇，2021年初挂牌。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

农场的创建与中侨办有关：1960年，该部门为接待、安置东南亚归国华侨，设立了这所农场。场名保留了申报时工作组驻地普宁县大南山镇的名称，场部后来迁到现址，改名手续繁琐，就沿用下来。初期农场归普宁县管辖。[1]

1961年惠来县恢复建制，农场随之归惠来县管理。1973年因收容越南归国难侨，农场吸纳了三清林场、三家村知青场及兵营公社辖下的五个大队，面积增至46.2平方公里。[1]

1988年，汕头市把大南山华侨农场委托给惠来县管理。1995年8月，揭阳市批准设立大南山华侨管理区，属正处级，农场牌子保留，它成为揭阳市派出机构，享受县级同等政策待遇。[1][3]

2019年10月14日起，揭阳市派出的大南山侨区管理机构转归惠来县，改设为惠来县派出机构，按镇街模式运作。划转时，桃园、龙湖两个办事处被撤销，村与社区改由镇上直接领导。[1]

2020年6月30日，惠来县以原大南山华侨农场辖区设立侨园镇，辖4个社区和14个村民委员会，面积46.2平方公里。[1]

2021年1月12日，镇党委、镇政府、镇人大与镇纪委、镇武装部正式挂牌，镇政体按镇街模式运行。[1]

2023年4月，侨园镇位列2022年「广东省乡村治理示范镇」创建单位名单。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域伸展于三清山麓，龙江河从境内穿过，全长8.7公里，水质常年在三类以上。[1]

省道葵和公路横贯镇内，自东向西延伸，国道324线在旁相接。[1]

镇域距深汕高速、揭普惠高速的出入口与厦深铁路葵潭站都只有5公里，距揭阳潮汕机场则为100公里。[1]

境内森林覆盖率为69.7%，绿化率72.1%；年降雨量为1855毫米，境内有小一、小二型水库17座。[1]

镇内国有土地15平方公里，耕地7000多亩，山地40000亩，地势多为低丘陵，花岗岩与沙质岩赤红壤等可用作砂、石、土资源。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2021年镇概况记载，全镇总人口21561人，其中侨民与侨属为3600多人，来源包括印尼、越南、泰国在内的8个国家。[1]

镇内居民惯用的语言种类有9种，常用的有潮汕话、普通话、客家话和广州话。[1]

经济[edit]

2019年全区地区生产总值（预测数）为16887万元。[1]

茶叶方面，2019年全区茶叶种植面积达到3500多亩，同年新开辟密植茶园200亩，另鼓励茶农自办茶厂2家。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

大南山八国风情园位于原大南山华侨管理区范围内，也就是今天侨园镇的辖区。[1][5]

园区面积300亩，园中有大象乐园与瑞沁湖，另有泰国四面佛广场和新加坡鱼尾狮等人文景点，并辟有观光茶园、樱花园与四季果园。[5]

2014年，园区获广东省农业厅与省旅游局联合评定，列为「广东省休闲农业与乡村旅游示范点」，2018年被评定为国家3A级旅游景区。[5]
