兵营村位于葵潭东部，与华侨农场交界，葵和路穿村而过，交通便利。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网：明末官府曾在此驻兵扎营，因此称为兵营。清康熙五十二年（1713年），黄氏先祖购得此地建村，仍沿用原名。[1]
明末，武举人林学贤曾率兵数千屯于村东南约2公里的虎头寨。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
村委会辖兵营、园头湖、内坑三个自然村。2009年底，全村总人口5680人，耕地2730亩（水田1761亩，山地14424亩）。村民以农业生产为业。[1]
