头屯村位于葵潭东北面，与普宁市相邻，广汕大道穿村而过，交通便利。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网：村子坐落在一座圆形山丘之上，原名“圆山”。天启年间（1621～1627），村的四周已形成多个小村，以圆山为首，于是改名头屯；“屯”在古时即“村”的意思。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内留有四大寨门的建寨遗址，还有上百年的古榕树。全村共有28个姓氏。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
2009年底，全村总人口5059人。耕地1438亩，其中水田1112亩、山地11100亩。村民以农业生产为主，乌叶荔枝、香蕉、李仔是特色农产品。[1]
