历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网：先民盼望子孙安居长久，取村名“图吉乡”；因当时房屋都是土墙草顶，又称土角寮。[1]

清康熙中期（约1690年前后），郑姓一族迁至现在的土角寮。[1]

2021年12月，土角寮村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2009年底，全村总人口1068人。耕地467亩（水田169亩，山地1047亩）。[1]

据惠来县人民政府网2021年1月的报道，全村共304户、1320人。村内主要经济作物为荔枝和龙眼，村民收入来源较窄，多外出经商或打工。[2]
