历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网：村子座落在一处山埔的一侧，埔下原有古河道，形成三个池塘，故名三池埔。[1]

清代，郑、黄等姓先后来此定居。此后村的建制历经大队、乡政府、村委会和管理区，1999年6月后改称村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2009年底，全村总人口2423人。耕地803亩，其中水田424亩、山地3500亩。村民主要从事农业生产。[1]
