玄武社区位于葵潭镇西部，与陆丰市相接，普惠高速穿境而过，并在社区内设有出入口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年间，此地曾办初级、高级农业合作社。此后经历大队、乡政府、村委会和管理区等建制，1999年5月至2002年5月村委会与居委会并存，之后合并为居委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

2009年底，社区户数3769户，人口共15293人。非农人口7595人，农业人口7698人。耕地1694亩（水田442亩、山地600亩）。[1]

社区居民以商贸活动为主业。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

世铿院位于玄武社区，由林世铿出资兴建，1995年动工，2004年竣工，占地100亩，建筑面积1万平方米。[1][2]
