山栗村位于鳌江镇北侧，属老苏区，立村已有500余年，村民以农业为主，主要种植冬瓜、荔枝等作物，又作山栗村。[1][2]

村民经济以农业为主。冬瓜是本村的特色作物，设有专业合作社。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年9月，山栗村（冬瓜）被列入第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。[1]

2023年11月，山栗村入选「广东百千万工程首批典型县镇村」。2024年4月，山栗村入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
