楼内村位于鳌江镇东侧，距镇区约1公里，由2个自然村组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

康熙二年（1663年）前后，倭寇、海盗活动猖獗，村民在四周筑墙建楼自卫，村名称为寨内。1953年改称楼内。[1]

明洪武年间（1368～1398年），黄氏先祖携妻弟周氏由福建莆田迁来此地定居。1958年起的公社化时期改为楼内大队；1983年至1986年间改设乡政府；1987年至1999年为管理区；1999年成立楼内村委会。[1]
