盟山村是广东省揭阳市惠来县溪西镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西南部，距镇区约2.4千米。村名取自清咸丰年间周边数村代表在山顶结盟的事。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

全村人口4252人（未注年份），土地2.5平方千米；水田656亩、旱园1260亩，合计耕地1916亩；另有山地300亩。作物以水稻、蕃薯、花生、大豆及荔枝为主，水果种植面积达400亩。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

明中叶（1488年至1522年），王、吴、陈诸姓先后来此定居。村后有一座山埔，取「萌发」之意，原名萌山。[1]

清咸丰年间，周边数村的代表曾在村后山顶结盟立约，此后世代友好，为纪念此事改名盟山。[2]

1949年后村曾称乡，并办过初级社、高级社；1958年至1983年为大队，1983年至1986年为乡政府，1987年至1999年为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[2]

经济与设施[edit]

石榴潭灌渠延伸至村内，农田用水较为方便。村中办有木材加工厂一家。村内有学校一所，教职工17人，在校学生732人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

1999年，镇党委把先进基层党组织的称号授予村党支部；2000年，村获评惠来县文明单位。2019年9月，盟山村上榜广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
