地理与人口[edit]
全村人口2115人（未注年份）。土地1.2平方千米；水田304亩、旱园509亩，合为耕地813亩；山地150亩。村中水果种植面积200多亩，主要作物为水稻、甘蔗、花生和甘薯。[1]
地名与历史沿革[edit]
清道光年间，周边几村合作，在原詹姓定居的低坳地建起围寨，取名勤节寨，后来又称詹厝坑。[2]
清咸丰年间，因村民以詹姓为主，取「詹」的潮语同音字「尖」，定名尖坑。[2]
1979年起村中独立设大队；1983年至1986年为乡政府，1987年至1999年为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[2]
经济与设施[edit]
村中乌腊蔗种植有250亩，为特色产业，村中还建有溪西金贵养殖场，场地1000多亩，内设饲料加工厂与鱼塘400亩，年产鱼13多吨。[1]
村内有学校一所，教职工5人，在校学生385人。[1]
