地理与人口[edit]
村址设在鲁阳上村，全村由鲁阳上村、鲁阳下村和渡头三个自然村组成。村中人口3611人（未注年份），土地9.3平方千米，耕地1390亩，其中水田1030亩；旱园与山地分别为360亩和10221亩。作物以荔枝、龙眼等优质水果为主。[1]
其中，坡度在25%以下、可开发种果的山地有一万多亩。[1]
地名与历史沿革[edit]
鲁阳上村原有廖姓先居，1219年蔡姓迁来创业，逐渐成为大族，另有郑、林、沈等姓聚居。村名初称廖阳，明洪武年间因村地形似凤，改称凤阳。后来依据蔡姓族谱「济阳初开统」的记载，追本溯源，取山东省简称「鲁」，改名鲁阳。[2]
1959年起称鲁阳大队；1983年至1986年为乡政府，1987年至1999年为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[2]
革命历史[edit]
鲁阳村属革命老区。1926年9月，村成立农民协会，同年组织农民自卫队。1927年，建立村党支部。1928年，村中赤卫队参加攻打隆江镇的战斗，暴动胜利后设立村苏维埃政府。[1]
解放战争时期，村中设过中共惠陆南边县委与惠陆南边行政委员会，也曾是二支第十团团部所在地。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
黄光山位于村东部，为当年的革命旧址，山上共有八处景致，其中有狮石大佛、岩穴石娘等，石佛高25米。大革命时期，彭湃、贺龙等曾先后在此领导农民运动。[1]
经济与设施[edit]
村中有小二型的赤头巷水库一宗，县中型水库尖官陂的总灌渠在村中通过。近年村中种植冬瓜200多亩，又发展荔枝生产，水果种植面积3000多亩，年产量150吨以上。[1]
村内有小学一所，教职工17人，在校学生584人。华侨林连登曾捐建以其命名的连登桥等，资助家乡。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局确定本村为乡村治理示范村创建单位（2021年度）；2024年3月，本村获评2023年度广东省卫生村；2026年1月，村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[2] 2021年8月，村入选2020年度的广东省森林乡村名单。[3]
