林沟村属隆江镇。村名原作乌蓝沟，因周边是密林、后有深沟得名，1976年简称林沟。2003年南海乡撤销后，该村并入隆江镇。[1][2]

周边林木茂密，村后又有深沟，因此原叫乌蓝沟；1976年起简称林沟。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清顺治十五年（1658年），李姓自今汕头乌登村来此创居。1958年改为大队，1960年南海场设立后划归其管辖。1976年并入洋下自然村，合为林沟大队，属南海乡，之后设林沟经济合作社。1987年改为村委会，1989年改为管理区，1999年又为村委会。[1]

2003年南海乡撤销，林沟村并入隆江镇。[1]
