孔美村位于龙江河中下游北岸，距镇政府4千米，属隆江镇，村内有孔美古村。村名原作港子美，明天启七年（1621年）唐姓人才辈出，村人归功于先贤，改称“孔子美”，后简称孔美。[1][2]

明天启七年（1621年），村中唐姓渐兴，举人、秀才辈出，村人归功于先贤，将村名由港子美改为“孔子美”，后简称孔美。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋末年（1278年至1279年），帝昺南奔，福建唐瑶甫（进士）聚集乡勇保驾，率军抵达惠来闻鸡山，与元兵奋战阵亡，其子于元至元二十三年（1286年）迁居港子美。1949年至1958年称孔美乡，1958年9月至1982年为孔美大队，1983年至1986年设乡政府，1987年至1989年改为村委会。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

孔美古村有七百余年的历史，聚落沿龙江北岸呈复合状分布，房屋为泥瓦木结构平房。[4][1]

据百度百科，村中保存清溪祖祠、辅臣公祠等近二十座祠堂，其中两座为县级文物保护单位。[2]

产业[edit]

村中推行“大米+仙草+光伏+山苍子”的综合产业，以香米树立“孔子美”品牌。[2][5]

荣誉[edit]

2019年3月，孔美村入选「第六批广东省古村落」名单。2019年6月，孔美村被列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录。2020年12月，孔美村列入2020年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2022年8月，孔美村被授予「2022年惠来县首批无毒村（社区）」称号。2026年1月，孔美村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」称号。[1]
