邦庄村在龙江河北岸下游，距镇政府5.5千米，属隆江镇。村名先写作“崩庄”，因江岸常崩、村地受淹，后以潮音相近改为邦庄。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

明天顺年间（1457年至1464年），庄姓一支自普宁迁到龙江对岸定居。此地原是蔡姓的旧居，因江岸崩塌常遭水淹，取名崩庄；后因潮音相近，改称邦庄。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

合作化时期经历过初级社和高级社；1987年设村委会，1989年至1999年为管理区，1999年并为邦庄村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予邦庄村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。据隆江镇人民政府2025年8月的工作总结，邦庄村属镇内「百千万工程」典型村之一。[1][3]
