山家村位于葵和路边，距隆江镇政府约6千米，属隆江镇。村名的来历是：明代晚期，此处仍为山陵荒野，有多姓人家搭寮垦荒，逐渐形成村落。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

明代晚期，李、许、杨、林、蔡、郭、黄等姓先后在此搭寮垦荒，随后形成村落，取名山家。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年并入大队，1983年至1986年改设山家乡政府，1987年至1989年为村委会，1989年至1999年为管理区，1999年又改为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年8月，山家村被授予「2022年惠来县首批无毒村（社区）」称号。2024年3月，山家村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
