陈陇村位于隆江镇东面约4千米处，属隆江镇。村名的起源与宋代陈氏先人的墓葬有关，原称耆陇。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

据记载，宋代莆田人陈原父中进士，任海丰县令，卒后家人护柩返乡，途经总铺洋时遇暴雨，洪水数日不退，棺木便葬在今村前的山上。宋绍兴年间（1131年至1182年），陈氏后人回来守墓并定居，村名为耆陇。新中国成立后，村名加上姓氏，改称陈陇。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1958年办过农业社；1973年至1983年拆出另成陈陇大队；1983年至1986年改设乡政府，1987年至1989年为村委会，1989年至1999年为管理区，1999年又为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予陈陇村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
