隆江镇为广东省揭阳市惠来县的一个建制镇，在县域中西部，龙江下游左岸，离县城约14千米。镇域北高南低，丘陵与滨海地貌并存，龙江河穿过全境。[1][2]
镇政府所在的隆江村，早先是龙江边的墟市，称龙江埠，又叫万兴寨，后来筑城，改称隆江城，镇名由此而来。镇内素有“三百六十乡墟”的说法。[3][1]
历史沿革[edit]
隆江一带古时归海丰县龙溪都管辖。明嘉靖三年（1524年）惠来设县，此地划属惠来。[3][4]
1949年后这里先设隆江区，1958年惠来并入普宁期间改作红光公社，1961年惠来复县，改称隆江公社。1983年至1986年10月间为隆江区，此后的1986年11月才定为镇。[2]
赤一、赤二、林沟三村过去属南海乡，南海乡于2003年取消，三村归入本镇；青山乡于2004年取消，其地并入头寮、尾寮两村。[4][3]
地理环境[edit]
2021年发布的镇概况记辖区面积为130.6平方千米，百度百科则写作134.6平方千米。[1][3]
龙江河在惠来被称为母亲河，流经镇境全域。镇内有石榴潭水库，属大二型，灌溉渠道四通八达。[1][2]
产业与特产[edit]
隆江猪脚饭据百度百科所述发源于隆江镇，以猪脚配香叶、八角、桂皮等药材卤制。2023年，揭阳市把隆江猪脚的制作技艺列入第七批市级非遗名录。[5]
隆江绿豆饼为酥皮绿豆点心，传统做法至今沿袭数百年。百度百科指出其制作技艺于2015年进入广东省非遗名录。[6]
隆江菜脯即晒干的萝卜，隆江芥蓝也是本地常见的蔬菜；此外，贝雕工艺品主要出自隆江与神泉两镇。[4][7]
文化与非遗[edit]
竹溪楼日历与隆江绿豆饼制作技艺属省级非物质文化遗产。镇内的民俗表演还有竹湖英歌舞、西塘八音和潮乐。[7]
名胜古迹[edit]
孔美古村位于孔美村，村落已有七百余年，聚落沿龙江北岸错落分布，房屋多为泥瓦木结构平房。[8][9]
人物[edit]
朱嘉璟（1589～1668）与朱陈（1661～1752）是明清时龙溪都巨镇里、巨镇乡的人，地在今凤红村。张经（1628～1693）出身龙溪都船场乡，即今镇区一带。林武略（1700～1784）生于龙溪都竹湖里，即今竹湖村。[4]
荣誉[edit]
2019年度广东省卫生镇（县城）称号，2020年2月授予隆江镇。2023年11月，隆江镇入选「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。2025年，隆江镇列入「广东省文化和旅游特色镇」培育名单。2026年5月，隆江镇入选「广东省第一批开展现代化建设的中心镇」名单。[4][7]
