林美村是广东省揭阳市惠来县岐石镇的行政村，位于镇区南面，地处花篮山脚下。1957年起雅称“林美”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宝佑年间（1253～1258年）的南宋时期，已有庄、卢、林等姓住在此地。村名早年写作“蓝尾”，又作“篮美”，1957年改雅称“林美”。[1]
新中国成立后一度叫林美乡，公社化时期改为大队；区乡制改革中再设乡政府，1987年改为村委会，之后经管理区阶段，1999年回到村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据2009年的统计，村中5408人，合904户；耕地1030亩，林地475亩。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，林美村被广东省乡村振兴局确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2022年8月，林美村获「惠来县首批无毒村（社区）」称号。[1]
2026年1月，林美村入选广东省「百千万工程」第二批典型村。[1]
