华清村是广东省揭阳市惠来县岐石镇的行政村，位于镇区东南部，地处惠来与陆丰两县交界，俗称下清村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

华清村总面积14.01平方千米。有大溪经村前流入甲子港出海，距岐石镇政府所在地约5公里，距惠来县城约25公里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村子临溪而建，遇到大雨，洪水顺溪入海，清浊分流，上游为浊水、下游为清水，因此名“下清”，后雅称“华清”。[1]

元末至正十年（1350年），卢东耕自潮阳迁居华清；明洪武四年（1371年），另一支卢氏自陆丰迁来定居。当时村中多姓并居，后他姓陆续外迁，遂成卢姓聚居之村。[2]

村中首所小学创办于1951年，校名沿用“华清学校”。学校后迁往村西，1985年又新建教学楼。[2]

2019年9月，华清村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」2018年创建单位名单。[1]
