岐石镇是广东省揭阳市惠来县的一个镇，在县境西南，面向南海，与县城惠城相距21.6公里。镇政府驻岐石村，镇名由此而来。[6][2]

历史沿革[edit]

岐石在明嘉靖三年（1524年）已属惠来县。民国二十五年（1937年），岐石隶属隆江区的鏊梅乡；1949年7月仍归隆江区，1951年12月改属第五区。[5]

1958年9月乡镇建制被撤销，改设公社。同年12月惠来县建制被撤销，红光公社改归普宁县；1961年3月惠来县复置，岐石设立公社。[5]

1983年11月设区建乡，岐石为区；1986年11月由岐石区改设为镇。[5]

2003年5月15日，原属南海乡的朱埔、和双、双湖三个村划归岐石镇管辖。[5]

地理环境[edit]

镇境属沿海丘陵地带，土质多为砂质土和赤红壤，全镇地势北高南低。[1][2]

东面与大南海石化工业区相接，西邻鳌江镇和甲子镇，南至甲东镇奎湖村，北至东埔农场。[2] 内隆公路从南向北穿过镇境。[4]

2020年度，全镇共15762户，农业人口98947人，非农业人口1232人。[2]

2020年统计，耕地为2.07万亩，林地为2.02万亩，山地为0.6万亩。[2]

2015年全镇产粮3895吨，播种粮食作物10562亩，另种植荔枝3700亩。[1]

文化[edit]

岐石虾饭制作技艺列为惠来县县级非物质文化遗产，于2024年第五批公布，申报地为岐石镇。[3]

中医正骨疗法（蔡氏中医正骨）于2015年第六批列入广东省级非物质文化遗产，申报地为岐石镇。[3]

著名人物[edit]

明代人陈光世，字复振，别号雪坡，生于1518年、卒于1586年，籍贯为龙溪都岐石里，即今岐石村所在地。[6][8] 著有《雪坡诗集》四卷。[8]
