前詹镇位于广东省揭阳市惠来县东南部，南面临海，西邻神泉镇，东接周田镇与靖海镇。镇政府驻前詹村，距县城惠城17公里，属沿海丘陵地带。[1][2]
全镇以鲍鱼养殖为重点，兼营荔枝、辣椒等种植和渔业。近年发展山海乡村旅游，石峻村的榕石生态园与沟疏村的荷花景区是其中的两处。[5][6][7]
历史沿革[edit]
南宋末年，詹姓人从饶平迁来建村，此后王、郑、陈等姓陆续迁入聚居。地名一说因詹姓先到而来，一说因镇人民政府驻前詹村而来。[1][2]
1949年至1958年9月，此地归神泉区管辖，建制为前詹乡；1958年后归红旗公社管辖，直到1961年3月。1961年3月，前詹乡改为秀水里公社，不久又改称前詹公社。1983年11月前詹公社改为区，1986年11月区改为镇。[2][1]
2021年9月，前詹镇因鲍鱼产业入选广东省第三批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇名单。2024年3月，前詹镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[2]
地理环境[edit]
全镇地势北高南低：北部为关门山向南延伸的丘陵山区，中部是平原，南部为沿海沙滩。海岸线长度，博雅地名网所载为13公里，惠来县人大网转载的2025年揭阳日报报道则作15公里。[2][7]
镇域面积的记载也不一致：博雅地名网作63平方千米，百度百科作60.98平方千米。[2][1]
人口[edit]
据第七次全国人口普查，前詹镇人口为4.34万人（博雅地名网）。百度百科则载截至2019年末户籍人口为65768人，两者统计口径不同，此处并列。[2][1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网所载数字多为1987年前后的情况：全镇有耕地1.96万亩，其中水田1.05万亩，主要种植水稻、番薯和花生；山地3.2万亩，种有荔枝、柑桔等果树约4000亩。沿海6个村亦农亦渔，有渔船773只；盐田2000亩，年产原盐约200吨。[2]
近年鲍鱼养殖成为重点产业。惠来县人大网转载的揭阳日报报道称，前詹镇已建成鲍鱼省级现代农业产业园，有养殖专业合作社130多家，养殖面积3900亩，从业人员有5000多人，每年产量约9200吨。此外还有石头羊养殖，以及荔枝、辣椒、鸦胆子等种植。[7]
名胜古迹[edit]
铭湖岩在镇境内，创建于南宋咸淳元年（1265年），1987年复建后开放，是惠来八景之一。岩洞奇特，相传唐代大颠禅师曾到此；大革命时期曾是地下中共党组织的活动场所。1989年1月19日，县政府将其公布为重点文物保护单位。[3][4]
石峻村的榕石生态园（榕石风景区）以山上的榕树和怪石著称，从揭惠高速前詹出口驱车十几分钟即可到达。园区周边建有民宿、观景平台和亲水栈道。[5][7]
沟疏村的滨荷湾旅游景区以荷花闻名。2021年前后，村里连片荷花达300多亩，成为市民赏花的去处。[5][7]
著名人物[edit]
方桂东（1857～1907），号纬星，原籍秀水里。他在清光绪五年考中武举人，之后投奔方耀，作为其部属驻守广州、潮州与惠州等地。[2]
方书彪生于1888年，卒于1978年，字炳彰，出身秀水里。1903年他进入广州述善小学堂读书，次年考入广东陆军第一小学。[2]
詹一惠，原籍荣锡里（今前詹村），后移居惠城。明万历十年（1582年）中举人，先后任江西上犹县知县、广西北流县知县。[2]
