象岗村是周田镇的一个行政村，位于镇域东部，地处丘陵，以农业为主，种植水稻、番薯等作物。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
几处聚居点都建在同一山岗上，岗上有一块大石形似大象，村落扩建后统称象岗。[1]
元至正年间（1341～1368），詹、朱二姓先后迁来定居，分别形成詹厝乡与朱畔两处聚落。明正德年间（1506～1510），林安庆由陆丰博美迁入，姚氏则来自后溪。[1]
新中国成立后设乡；1958至1983年公社化时期称大队，其下辖的一个村落于1959年撤去；1983年后为乡政府，1987年划为管理区，1995年析出一村，1999年改为村委会。[1]
2019年9月，象岗村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
经济[edit]
2009年，村内住户496户，共2883人，农民人均纯收入2841元。[1]
