崎岎村是周田镇的一个行政村，位于镇域北部，以农业为主，分设两个经济联合社。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传早年此地为荒地，地形崎岖，羊肠小道难行，遇洪水则沙石成堆，俗语称「三日无雨火烧埔」，村因而取名崎岎。[1]

明宣德年间（1426～1435），村先祖自福建莆田迁来定居，此后陈、林、周、李等姓陆续迁入。[1]

1949年称崎岎村；1958年至1983年公社化期间为大队，1983年设乡政府，1989年划为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[1]

2019年9月，崎岎村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
