厝坑村是周田镇的一个行政村，在镇区西南，下设厝坑、施家、新村三个经济联合社。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明天启五年（1625），史姓自福建莆田迁来定居。村前有一大坑，故称史厝坑。后因盗匪骚扰，居民离散，赖、游、张三姓自潮阳分支迁来重建村落，史姓不再居住，1950年改名厝坑。[1]

1972年自另一大队分出，设厝坑大队，下辖两个自然村；1983年设为乡政府，1987年划为管理区，1999年改为厝坑村委会，沿用至今。[1]

2026年1月，厝坑村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村辖区内的施家有百花岩庄严禅寺，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

2009年人均纯收入2530元。[1]
