考山村是周田镇的一个行政村，位于镇域中部，以农业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落原称寨脚埔，今称山坪园。因遭盗匪骚扰，居民迁入双石门内，取名石口山，后简称口山。清末改称考山，取「考」字寓意长寿久远。[1]

明万历年间（1573～1578），村中先人始在此创村，初有黄、杨、许等姓，此后他姓陆续迁入。[1]

新中国成立初期称乡；1958至1971年的公社化时期改为大队，1972年分出三村；1983年设为考山乡政府，1987年为管理区，1992年被认定为「革命老区村」，1999年起称村委会。[1]

2019年9月，考山村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
