资深村在靖海镇的西南角，东面紧接靖海湾，南边与南海相接。村里有资深渔港，村内也有资深炮台旧址。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

村后东边原是一片低洼地，称“后深园”。民国十三年（1924年）改用现名，取物产丰富之意。[1]

村子始创于明隆庆年间（1567年至1572年），张姓一支从潮阳迁来定居，随后林、柯、方、许等姓陆续迁入，成为多姓同居的村庄。新中国成立后设村，随后乡政府与渔业大队先后设立，1983年又改设乡人民政府；1986年至1999年为管理区，1999年起改设村委会。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村子辖区面积4.5平方千米，距县城30公里。村内按地域分为东南西北四个片区。[2]

渔业与名胜[edit]

村民世代以海洋捕捞为生，渔业是家家户户的支柱，捕捞方式由风帆渔船逐步转向机械化。[2]

资深渔港面积7万平方米，为国家二级渔港，可停泊300多艘渔船。[2]

资深炮台旧址位于村内，与靖海炮台并称南北炮台，详见靖海镇条目。[2][3]
