葛山村位于靖海镇区的西侧，村名源于村东山上满生葛藤。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

建村之初，村东侧的山上长满葛藤，村因此得名。[1]

村子的起源可追溯到宋朝中期。南宋时期（1265年），史姓一支从福建迁来建村。1949年后称葛山村，其后经历乡、大队、管区等阶段，1999年改为村委会。[1]

人口与教育[edit]

博雅地名网记载，全村有5150人，统计年份未注。村民以种植农作物和淡水养殖为生。[1]

惠来二中位于村东部，1985年建校，2006年筹资扩建。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

普慧岩在村西，岩寺始建于明洪武年间，依山而建，后进的葛峰岩以天然巨石作厅顶。1995年，普慧岩被列为县级文物保护单位。[2][3]
