靖海镇位于广东省揭阳市惠来县东南部的沿海地带，东南濒临南海，西邻周田镇和前詹镇，北接仙庵镇。全镇面积为48.88平方千米，沿岸线全长22千米。[1][3]

镇名来自明洪武二十七年（1394年）设立的靖海千户守御所，取平息寇患、安定海疆之意。嘉靖年间修筑的靖海所城（靖海古城）、资深村的资深炮台旧址和坂美村一带的石碑山灯塔，是镇内主要的文物古迹。[1][3][7][6]

历史沿革[edit]

明洪武二十七年（1394年）设靖海千户守御所，隶属潮州卫，所城于嘉靖二十八年（1549年）开始修建，历时十三年建成。[1][3][9][10][12]

明嘉靖以后此地形成圩集，此后历代都是惠来东部的重点圩镇。[3][4]

1958年并为东红公社，划归潮阳县管辖；1961年3月重归惠来县，设为靖海镇公社。1983年改设靖海区，1984年2月撤区建镇。[3][1]

靖海镇是「2021年广东省乡村治理示范乡镇」的创建单位，该认定由广东省乡村振兴局于2022年1月作出；2024年3月，靖海镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[3]

维基百科另有同名的原广西北海市靖海镇条目，该条目请见高德街道（北海市），与本镇无关。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域在惠来县东南部沿海，海岸线长22千米，北部与仙庵镇相接，西面以周田镇、前詹镇为邻。[1][3]

镇域属沿海丘陵地带，海岸礁石与石笋群沿岸分布，石碑山岬角伸入南海，岸上建有灯塔。[4][14][6]

据百度百科，2019年靖海镇户籍人口为77570人。[1]

博雅地名网载，2021年6月公布的第七次全国人口普查结果为4.93万人。[3]

经济[edit]

1987年，全镇工农业总产值为1712.98万元。镇办的工厂有15家，所产以水产品、胶丝、渔网和塑料制品为主。[4]

2019年统计，镇内工业企业共39家，其中规模以上的为9家。[1]

农业上，胡萝卜、辣椒、番薯各形成千亩规模的产业；靖海鲍鱼苗的产量在全国市场占有相当份额，镇域于2023年入选「全国鲍鱼产业强镇」。[1]

镇内有石碑山风电场，并建有10万吨级缓煤码头。[1]

特产有靖海鲍鱼、靖海豆楫和靖海龙虾，其中靖海豆楫以花生和麦芽糖浆为主料。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

靖海所城在百度百科中又称靖海古堡，别名有「象城」「东土屏藩」「惠来锁钥」，所在地为资深村一带。[8]

所城以石条垒砌城墙，中间夯填灰土，设东、西、南、北四个城门，城内四条大街成十字形，直通四门，城墙与街道合成「象城」的格局。[9][13]

南城门一带的城墙于1952年拆除。西门与北门的部分墙段后来也被拆掉，地段改建成住宅。今天留存的是北门至东门的城楼，以及东门至南门的墙段。[9]

百度百科的靖海古城墙条目称现存东、西、北三个城门，城墙长566米；靖海镇条目则称近600米古城墙。[12][1]

2010年，靖海古城墙被列入「广东省第六批省级文物保护单位」。[5][12]

资深炮台旧址在资深村内。炮台的渊源可上溯到明初，清康熙五十六年（1717年）又曾重建；它与靖海炮台并称「南北炮台」，二者共同控制靖海港的水道，修筑的目的是防备倭寇。[7][5]

1839年（清道光十九年），林则徐在资深炮台旧址销毁了潮州解送省城的鸦片烟土2万余斤。该处1983年被定为县级文物，到2022年7月升格为省级，并列入第十批广东省文物保护单位名单。[7][5][11]

石碑山灯塔位于坂美村西南的石碑山岬角。清光绪八年（1882年）始建，抗战期间的1943年被日军炸毁，战后1948年又建起钢塔。现在的塔是1989年建成的，以钢筋混凝土建造，高68米，有「亚洲第一航标塔」之称。塔旁设有领海基点石碑。[6][5]

客鸟尾石笋在旧厝村一带的海滨，距旧厝村约3公里，是海蚀作用形成的石笋群，其中有冲天石柱，也有形似海狮、企鹅的岩体。[14]
