四石村在仙庵镇东部沿海，与潮阳相邻，距惠来县城约35公里，是一个老苏区村。[1][2]

地名与历史[edit]

清康熙年间，郑氏自潮阳平湖一带迁入，在此搭寮做贩鱼生意，地名原作“寮地”。因寮地东南紧靠四堆大石头，遂改名“四石”。[1][2]

1957年起称四石村，归仙庵乡；1958年并入东红公社，为四石大队；1983年成为仙庵区下的四石乡政府；1987年设仙庵镇四石管理区；1999年改设村委会。[3]

经济[edit]

渔业是主业，95%的村民捕鱼为生，也有人养殖海产。[1]

全村总面积约2273亩，耕地372.42亩，总人口2592人，429户，未注年份。2009年，村里的收入为789万元，每人每年平均3120元。[1][2]
