点埔村在仙庵镇，属大南山革命老区，因修建顶溪水库而有过整体迁移。[2][1]村名原作“鼎盖埔”，因埔中央孤立着一块黑色巨石，改称“点埔”。[2]

地名与历史[edit]

明正德年间（1506～1521），杨、蔡、郭等姓先后到此创寨定居。[4]

顶溪水库建成时，村庄整体迁到关门山以东六公里处的荒埔。迁移的年份，三处记载不一：博雅地名网基本介绍作1955年，历史沿革作1959年，百度百科作1958年。[1][2][4]

当时，村民迁入后建起834间瓦木结构平房，安置433户移民。[1]
