地名与历史[edit]
村名原取和睦团结之意，称“安宁”。后由李氏一姓独居，并围筑寨墙，改称“宁寨”。[2]
明弘治年间（1488～1505）最早来此的是李、张、杨三姓，后来只剩李姓一家。[1][2]
1957年成为宁寨村，归仙庵乡；1958年起为东红公社下的宁寨大队；1983年成为仙庵区的宁寨乡政府；1986至1999年属仙庵镇并设管理区，1999年起为村委会。[3]
人口与经济[edit]
截至2009年，全村270户、1888人，耕地水田462亩、旱园351亩，总面积813亩，属纯农村。[1]
