京陇村在仙庵镇东部，离县城约28公里。[1]村址北面是宽广的山垄，旧名荆山、荆陇，俗称“埔陇”，雅称“京陇”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋绍兴三十年（1160年），福建漳州东山人胡道夫避难到此，就此落籍，京陇村由他创立。[2][3]

清乾隆丙午年（1786年）取“荆”字的同音、“埔”字的近义，定名“京陇”。[1]

新中国成立初此地为惠来县和林区的京陇乡。1957年起称京陇村，属仙庵乡；1958年改入东红公社，为京陇大队；1983年转为京陇乡政府，1987年为京陇管理区，1999年定为京陇村委会。[2]

地理与人口[edit]

全村面积约6平方千米，北高南低，东、西为平原，南有河流沃地，北为丘陵山地。[3]

文化[edit]

村内的荆山古寺建于元朝延祐三年（1316年），后于1986至1987年另择地重建，1988年8月开放。[4]
