浮埔村在仙庵镇南部，南面与靖海镇毗邻，由浮埔、新田、翁厝、林厝四个自然村组成。[1]属革命老区。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

创村时此地原为一片山埔，四周低洼，与京陇村相连。每逢海潮或暴雨，埔与村都被淹没，水退后山埔又浮出水面，村名由此而来。[2]

博雅地名网记为元代创村。1957年改称浮埔村，1958年并入浮埔大队；1983年称浮埔乡，1986年又改为浮埔村，1992年改为管理区，1999年起为村委会。[3]

全村总户数722户，总人口4449人，未注年份；村域总面积3.129平方千米。[1][2]

2009年，村中收入合计1015.5万元，每人平均年收入2285元，以农业为本。[1]
