东铺村在仙庵镇东南部，深汕高速公路仙庵段的东南侧，与潮阳相邻，距县城27公里。[2][3]村名与明代的一处圩集有关，圩集旧名“复古市”，村又别称复古市。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明永乐年间（1403～1424），这里临河港、舟楫往来频繁，岸上聚起一处圩集，俗称复古市。圩集东侧的铺户中，杨、李、胡等姓人家建起村落，村名由此而来。[2]

东铺村委会由东铺、红桥两个自然村组成。1957年属仙庵乡，改称东铺村；1958年属潮阳县东红公社；1961年复属惠来县仙庵公社。1983年改设东铺乡政府，1986年又设村委会，1992年改为管理区，1999年再称村委会。[4]

人口与经济[edit]

村里耕地合计2010亩，水田与旱园分别为1050亩和960亩。主要作物为大蒜、水稻、番薯、花生、芋头和萝卜，其中大蒜与芋头为经济作物；村里另有牛蛙养殖和鸭群饲养。[3]蒜头、香芋被视为村内的特色农产品。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，东铺村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村称号。[2]
