叮美村位于惠来县惠城镇山区西北面，距县城约12公里，是一个纯农山村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

新中国成立后，县委县政府把两个自然村合并为一个村级组织，取两村名的首字，定名叮美。该村由叮年树、美岭两个自然村组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

叮美村曾是革命根据地。1949年后办过初级社和高级社，隶属石古乡；1958至1962年间分属不同大队，1979年定名叮美大队。1983年起改设乡政府，1987年改为叮美管区，1999年起为叮美村村委会。[1]

2005年河林乡撤销后，叮美村归惠城镇管辖。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，叮美村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月，获「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
