小溪村位于惠来县惠城镇山区北面，揭神路经过村境，村庄因村前小溪得名。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村前有一条小溪流过，故名小溪。明初有袁氏在此定居，后有黄、方、余等姓陆续迁入。[1]

新中国成立前曾归大南山管理局下属的乡公所管辖；1950年至1957年间并入一个乡，1958年复归惠城，划入五服大队；1987年起改称小溪管理区，1999年改设小溪村委会。[1]

产业[edit]

村民以农业和外出务工为主要收入。荔枝品种有糯米糍、妃子笑等，在市场上销路较好。[2]
