新乡仔村位于惠来县惠城镇山区西北部，离县城不到2公里，属革命老区村。[1]
地名与历史沿革[edit]
村民祖先以打铁为业，原名“打铁新乡仔村”，第二次国内战争时期改称新乡仔村。村创于清康熙十一年（1672年）。[1]
新中国成立初期曾办初级社和高级社；此后经历多次并村与分设，1999年自五服管区分出，设立新乡仔村委会。[1]
革命遗迹[edit]
村前有一座土名“破皮虎”的小峰，当年红军攻城时曾为重要据点，村庄也曾是红军攻城时的后勤基地。[1]
