英内社区位于惠来县惠城镇城区中部，北靠西一社区和四香村，南接南美社区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年后曾设乡，归惠城镇管辖；1958年改称大队，1983年区乡制改革后设乡政府。1987年成为英内管理区，1999年为村委会，2003年转为英内社区居委会，此名一直使用至今。[1]
地理与社会[edit]
社区境内有环城河流过，环城东路与环城北路相接，惠东路和惠南路在十字街口交会。县人民政府驻地在英内，惠来一中、华侨中学和英内小学也设在社区内。[2]
