美丰村在镇西部山区，与陆河县螺溪镇交界，离镇区10千米。村名寓意大丰收。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年间为美丰大队。1984年2月，大队改设乡政府；1986年定为美丰村民委员会，1990年成为美丰管理区，1999年改称美丰村委会，延续至今。[1]

村中有三类基金会，在外乡亲出资兴办，分别面向老人、学业优良的学生和现役军人。[1]

2019年9月，本村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
