赤告村位于揭西县五云镇北部，与梅州市五华县棉洋镇、揭西县上砂镇和良田乡相邻，省道238线贯穿全村，属红色革命老区。[1]

全村总人口4000人、714户，据博雅地名网；百度百科所载相同。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年，此地为赤告大队。1984年撤大队设乡政府，1986年起称赤告村民委员会，1991年11月设管理区办事处，1999年又回到村委会建制。[3]

地理与经济[edit]

村内耕地1587亩，山地23800亩。山地放养的肉牛有上千头；农业以水稻、花生和反季节蔬菜为主，本村咸菜较有特色。[1][2]

林业方面，村中已种植速生丰产林5000多亩，村集体收入主要来自林果场发包和电站分红。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予该村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
