京埔村是广东省揭阳市揭西县五云镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东部，距县城约4公里，属红色革命老区。[1]

全村总人口2104人、464户，据博雅地名网；百度百科载为2110人、358户。村中有五云彭氏宗祠。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年，京埔是人民公社下的一个大队。1984年撤销大队，改为乡；1986年随区改镇又成为村，1991年为管理区，1999年才重新定为村民委员会。[3]

地理与经济[edit]

省道335线穿村而过，多数村道已铺设水泥路面。耕地555亩，山地3163亩。村内有胶合板厂、毛织厂和制药企业等数家民营企业，沿省道商铺较多。[1][2]

文化[edit]

五云彭氏宗祠始建于明朝万历辛卯年，即公元1591年，至今已有四百多年，宗祠原建结构保存较完好，规模较大。博雅地名网称该祠正在申报县级文物保护单位。[1]

著名人物[edit]

彭克猷（1890—1976），原名靖卿，生于京埔村。1912年入五经富福音医院学医，1917年毕业，此后先后在福建上杭和河婆的教会医院任医生。[4]
