大茶石村是钱坑镇东部的行政村，始建于清代。村民均姓林，系钱坑林氏林南山的后裔。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1962年设大茶石大队；1984年设乡；1986年村一级改为村民委员会；1990年改称管理区办事处；1999年起定名为大茶石村委会。[1][2]

2022年，该村被评为揭阳十大美丽乡村，并列为广东省乡村治理示范村。[3][1]

2026年1月，大茶石村被列为广东省“百千万工程”第二批典型村。[1][4]
