大溪镇是广东省揭阳市揭西县的一个镇，位于县境中南部，地处榕江上游，距揭西县城约15公里，省道S239东西向穿过镇区。镇域面积约35.36平方千米，2020年末常住人口约2.08万人。[1][2][3]

镇域以农业为主，特色农产品有淮山、橄榄和乌榄。[2][6] 大溪元宵柚产于井新一带，果实耐存，可留至元宵节食用，故名。[5] 井美村的李氏宗祠一带保存有较多古建筑，大溪宗祠祭典也在此举行。[7][8]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月设乡，隶属五联区。1976年9月前，这一带属钱坑人民公社，此后单独设社；1983年底改社为区，1986年底区改为镇。镇名源自当地人对榕江南河的称呼。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

东面是灰寨镇，西面为龙潭镇与坪上镇，南面紧邻钱坑镇，北面则与南山镇接壤。境内有榕江南河，规划依托其打造滨水生态景观带。[2]

经济[edit]

2024年的一份调研报告提到，镇内有合作社经营淮山、玉米和茶叶等作物的种植。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

井美村的李天生大楼、李氏宗祠，井新村的井新古寨，都列为揭阳市的市级文物保护单位。井新村另有善信古庵，大东村有大东肇基公祠、长雄公祠，新楼村有立祥公祠，井美村另有李氏受祖祠，以上列为「三普登记文物」。大溪古驿道在文物名录中分别注明于大东村和新楼村。[7][8]

文化[edit]

每逢重阳（农历九月初九），井美村的大溪李氏宗祠都会举行大溪宗祠祭典，以祭祖敬神为主，另有舞狮、锣鼓等庆祝活动，寄托新年平安的愿望。该祭典于2007年列入广东省第二批省级非物质文化遗产名录。[4]
