杜塘村位于金和镇北部，村内分老寨、公路脚、新寨三个小区。[1]
人口与耕地[edit]
据博雅地名网，村内耕地面积862亩，总人口2057人，有360户，党支部有党员53人，统计年份未注。该村概况另写耕地1300多亩、山地60多亩，两种数字并存，此处并列。[1][2]
产业[edit]
村子以种植优质水稻为主，另有花生、甘薯、橄榄、黄瓜等作物。近年洋仔外片种植甜玉米200多亩，并带动农户种植黄瓜；养猪专业户10多家，鱼池500多亩。[2]
村中有四家小型建筑业，承担了镇内不少建设工程。[2]
村政建设[edit]
村委近两年投入约40多万元，修建村道水泥路2.5公里并装上路灯，两旁栽植绿化树苗3000株，另建桥梁一座；填埋老寨旧厕池150个，新建公厕3个，推平改良荒地20多亩。[2]
村里还建起篮球场和文化室各一个，并配备治安队摩托车7辆。统计年份未注。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，杜塘村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1999年又改回村委会，名称至今未变；1990年改为管理区办事处；1986年设村委会；1984年撤销生产大队，设杜塘乡政府；1972年设大队。[1]
